one month

Happy one month to our sweet Brielle. It's been a fast month and Ryan & I are learning how to function on very little sleep.

weekend

Typical weekend with the family :) Can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can be outside and go to the wineries with the kids.

Ryan's mom was able to come from Arizona to meet Brielle :)

first bath

First bath was a success :) Not a single cry. I hope she stays likes this and always enjoys bath time. It makes things so much easier. Ryan even got a few smiles out of her when I was prepping the bath. I know she is only 4 weeks old, but the smiles were definitely in reaction to the noises/faces he was making to her.

this little girl has so much hair! takes a little while to make sure we got all the soap out of it, but she was patient with us thankfully.

3 week update

Brielle loves her play mat. She will lay there and just look in the mirror on it. Riley has been great with her so far. He doesn't usually pay too much attention to her, but now that we started putting her on the ground on the mat, he comes over and lays down with her.

Our little peanut is growing like a weed. She is now 8 lb 6 oz, see that belly!? :)

gas smiles

Brielle is 2 weeks old. We had her 2 week appointment this week and she is finally gaining weight! She went from 6 lbs 7 oz to 7 lbs 4 oz in just one week.  I am so happy and can finally relax and not worry about her weight.  


When she is sleeping she smiles constantly. I can't wait until she has real smiles. These are a couple I caught on my phone. Since her favorite place to sleep is in my arms, it's hard for me to grab the actual camera.
