big girl breakfast

I decided well before Brielle was born that I wanted to do homemade baby food rather than buying the jar food. I did all kinds of veggies & fruits and she loved all of them. There were a few that were a thicker consistency and she took a bit to get used to, but my girl is NOT picky when it comes to food. At her 9 month appt, they said she can start eating meats. The baby food maker I used is amazing (thanks Em!) and it steams any meat you want, but that just seems disgusting to me. So I bought the Gerber meat mixes. Yeah. Those are just as gross. So after 2 weeks on those, I decided she was ready to try some REAL food. Boyyyy was she!!! So far her big girl food list consists of stuffing, potatoes, green beans, peas, pears, peaches, waffles, pancakes, french toast, blueberries, chicken nuggets and spaghetti-o's. Needless to say, she's ready for Thanksgiving. :) Here are a couple pics of her first real food (waffles & canned pears).

stairs

I don't even know how fast she would be if she was crawling on all 4's. She follows us wherever we go. As soon as we move into our house we are going to have to do some serious baby proofing. Until then, hopefully 8 eyes will keep her from getting into anything she shouldn't. Today, she discovered the stairs. Uh-oh.

happy halloween!

Just because she isn't old enough to understand trick-or-treating doesn't mean we don't get to have fun and put her in a cute costume. We sat outside and handed out candy (so the dogs weren't barking like crazy) and Brielle just waived at the kids. Cutest. thing. ever. Here are a couple pictures from the day.
